love over two timezones
like a scoop if ice cream
melting over two cones
like running in two parallel tunnels
so near and yet so far

my love is close to my heart
yet too far to touch
maybe if we keep running
we might find each other in a tight embrace
at the end of the tunnels

meanwhile it is a somewhat
dark and lonely journey
we both have to endure
