Funny?!
Isn't it funny how each of us can see the reality as he pleases?
Funny how you would always find good reasons to "forgive" someone for acts he did or did not do and you wish he had done otherwise.
He might just as well not care at all about you, but who knows... and even if he tells so or gives such impression, how can you ever be sure, he might just be pretending??... (although it is hard to understand the reasons for such behaviour, once again you would forget this little tiny detail or create a alibi and keep hoping...)
Of course, at one point in time, it may become obvious that you are losing your time and energy, it is time to move on... but secretly, deep inside of you, you may keep that little flame...
